Riding Lac d’Annecy
Ride around Lake Annecy indoors on Everycol’s Lac d’Annecy loop. Beginning in Annecy, the route follows the western shore through Sévrier and Duingt, rounds the southern end at Doussard and returns along the eastern shore.
This itinerary keeps the lake as its focus rather than adding one of the surrounding mountain passes. It returns to Annecy, giving you a complete circuit to explore alongside the longer climbs in the French Alps collection.
Annecy to the southern end of the lake
The loop starts in Annecy and heads down the western side through Sévrier and Duingt. Doussard marks the southern end of the itinerary before the route begins its return along the opposite shore. The map shows how the circuit connects these lakeside places.
The eastern shore and return
On the way back, the route passes Talloires and Menthon-Saint-Bernard, then Veyrier-du-Lac before returning to Annecy. Use the elevation profile to inspect the changes in height around the full loop; a lakeside route still has a measured climbing total in the simulation.
A different French Alps ride
Choose Lac d’Annecy when you want a circuit around the lake with the same starting and finishing point. Compare it with Alpe d’Huez or Galibier from Valloire to see how a lakeside loop differs from a sustained mountain ascent in distance, climbing and route shape.
